MPlace Girls organized an exclusive workshop titled “Arduino 4Her” during Arduino week. The aim of the workshop was to introduce females to the world of Arduino and provide them with a basic understanding of its potential applications. This workshop was led by Certified Arduino Practitioners, with support from the MPlace Girls Facilitators.
The workshop had 23 participants from diverse backgrounds and ages, including learners from different universities. Out of the 23 participants, only 2 had a basic understanding of Arduino and its microcontrollers. The remaining 21 participants had no prior experience with Arduino but were eager to learn about its applications and potential.
The workshop used a hands-on and interactive approach, with learners provided with Arduino kits and components. They were
encouraged to work in pairs or small groups to complete the hands-on activities, with guidance and support provided by
workshop leaders.
The participants had the opportunity to work on different project and how these project will solve real life problems.
Through the collection of data from the learners, 95.5% were in interested in attending the event again
