MPlace Girls, named as a nod to MakersPlace is a sub-foundation of this company targeted at young girls who have a strong passion for technology but with less formal programming training. The aim is to empower young girls with technological skills to dominate the future industry, a place where women are the tech-savvies!
Our Objective
MPLACE Girls Is A Non-Profit Organization That Seeks To Be A Holistic Avenue To Shape The Girl Child’s Creative Ability, Incorporating In Them The 4Cs, Which Is Communication , Collaboration, Creativity And Critical Thinking Together With The Technical Knowledge To Add That Extra Confidence Boost In Their Social Skills.
We Offer Certification Courses, Extensive Online Educational Tools, And Hands-On Social Impact Mission Experience, All Designed To Ensure That Each Student Has Mastered The Essential Skills Required For Them In The Area Of STEAM. Organizing A Speaker Series Showcasing Globally Known Ghanaian Female Executives And Entrepreneurs Will Spur Confidence And Act As Role Models. Our Mentorship Scheme Also Offers Career Networking And Personal Assistance.

Skills Training
Curriculum: Participants will undergo intensive training in programming projects which emphasis will be placed on applying newly acquired skills through hands-on projects, ensuring a practical understanding of the concepts.
Project Development:
Participants will form teams to develop projects that address real-world problems, fostering collaboration and innovative thinking.
Learning Lab
Organize workshops and boot camps to give girls skills in the area of STEAM education at our STEM Lab with support from our amazing facilitators.

The Mplace Girls program will foster a collaborative community among participants , providing a platform for knowledge sharing and mutual support through all tech events
