Joining a gathering of young, bright brains for the first-ever Step-Up STEM 4 Girls program was an exciting day. The main goal of this program, which was put together by BLOOMING MINDS CHANGE CHAMPION NETWORK in association with MPlace Girls was to give 20 young girls a thorough understanding of the wide range of career options available in the STEM field as well as a realistic expectation of what to expect in this field.
The organizers of the programme were eager and determined to ensure that participant retired the event with the ability to conceptualize and practice each concept.
These youthful attendees were exposed to the field of robotics through interactive workshops that included hands-on practice with the amazing WhalesBot. Using an adaptable micro:bit kit, they also participated in interactive lessons that explored the fields of electronics and programming.
The event proved delightful, leaving lasting memories for both participants and the organizers. The success of the event kindled the passion of organizers to extend their effort, allocate their resources to helping more young minds and empowering the generational leaders of our society
